From the top ... Taking care of what's most important

PATRICK AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- I recently toured our Child Development Center. I was impressed by the staff's care, attention and devotion to the children they take care of while you take care of our Nation's defense.
I have no doubt that our childcare professionals are indeed the best of the best and that the most important things in your lives--your children--are in truly good hands.

With all of the turmoil and change going on in this world, the one constant is the importance of family. Fortunately, our Air Force recognizes that if a member is worried about his or her family, then that member's military readiness is adversely affected. That's why developing and caring for Airmen and their families is one of our Air Force's top three priorities.
Our active duty, Guard, Reserve and civilian Airmen are our most valuable assets in fighting the Global War on Terror, ensuring we are the world's dominant air, space and cyberspace force. We must take care of you and your families as we navigate through this difficult time as a nation at war.
In that regard, we're hoping to build a new CDC that will accommodate 266 infants and small children up to five years of age. This project is the Wing's number one military construction project and number three in Air Force Space Command. The new facility will be located in the Central Housing Area next to the Education Center.

We are striving to put our money where it counts: Taking care of you and yours. Thanks for all you do.
