45th SW commander and command chief experience Air Force dirty jobs

PATRICK AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- Brig. Gen. Wayne Monteith, 45th Space Wing commander, and Chief Master Sgt. Jason Lamoureux, 45th Space Wing command chief, assisted the 45th Space Communications Squadron on cable repairs April 18 in Manhole 208 at Patrick Air Force Base, Florida.

During their time with 45th SCS cable maintenance, they repaired and replaced a copper communication line seeding a Florida Power and Light power station.

The wing commander and command chief visit with 45th SW members each month in order to gain a better understanding of the jobs they do daily, address their questions and concerns and look for ways they can provide additional support.
