This year has been difficult for those who have chosen to serve our nation - whether active duty, national guard, civilian, or a contractor. In this year alone, our nation's war fighters have endured the effects of sequestration and now the effects of a government shutdown.

There is uncertainty as to when the government shutdown furlough will be lifted, and many are experiencing pressure and anxiety. Those who are at work as well as those who are patiently waiting to return, please make time to take care of yourselves.
