Team Patrick-Cape is invited to the annual National Prayer Breakfast, at 7:30 a.m. May 1, at the Tides Club.

This year's theme is, "Hey, Listen Here," and features Chaplain (Col.) Timothy Butler, Air Force Space Command chaplain, as the guest speaker. Chaplain Butler served in various assignments at the wing, major command, and headquarters Air Force levels and on the staff of the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Personnel and Readiness.

The prayer breakfast celebration began during World War II when a small group of congressmen and their staffs began meeting for prayer and Bible study.

Today, the National Prayer Breakfast is held in Washington D.C., and is sponsored by the U.S. Senate and the House of Representatives prayer groups. The purpose of the occasion is to bring together the leadership of the United States in recognition of the moral and spiritual values upon which our nation was founded.

A limited number of tickets are available for $5. For more information, call the Seaside Chapel at (321) 494-4073.
