PATRICK AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- Team Patrick-Cape is invited to attend a presentation and meet-and-greet of former NASA astronaut retired Capt. Winston E. Scott, U.S. Navy, at the South Patrick AFB Protestant Chapel Children's Church, Oct. 25, at the 11 a.m. service.

Both of the Patrick AFB Protestant Children's Church services, 9 a.m. Seaside Chapel and 11 a.m. South Patrick Chapel, have been conducting a 13-week Children's Church theme called: My Outer Space Adventure, which was designed around former NASA astronaut and former Air Force Col. James B. "Jim" Irwin's testimony.

"This makes Mr. Scott's visit quite timely," said Susan Boone, PAFB Protestant Chapel Religious Education coordinator. "The children are so excited that he is coming to see them, and so are the adults."

The children will have an opportunity to ask questions of Scott, view a presentation, hear about his space experience and meet him personally.

The South Patrick Chapel is located at 84 Harrier Ave., Satellite Beach, Florida, 32937, off base chapel. For more information, call the chapel at (321) 494-4073.
