Wing, mission partners build resiliency team

Airmen stationed at Patrick Air Force Base and Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Fla., recently graduated from the 45th Space Wing Resiliency Training Assistant Course and joined the base resiliency team.

The RTA graduates will provide resilience training to military, civilian personnel and families at the unit level, and with Master Resiliency Trainers through professional military education, Wingman Day and special events.

"When we look at Comprehensive Airman Fitness we focus on how we can strengthen our Airmen, civilian members and families across the mental, physical, social and spiritual domains," said Col. Shawn Fairhurst, 45th Space Wing vice commander, who congratulated and thanked the new RTAs for their commitment to building a resilient force.

"As resiliency trainers you will provide those skills that contribute to an Airmen's well-being and success both personally and professionally.  You will make a positive difference both in the lives of our Airmen as individuals and to our mission," he said.
