PATRICK AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- Boy Scouts seek members
Patrick AFB Boy Scout Troop 326 is looking for children between the ages of 11 and 16 to join. The troop meets Mondays from 7 to 8:15 p.m. at the South Chapel Annex in the Pelican Coast Housing area. The Airman and Family Readiness Center will hold the following classes in Building 722:
- Career Change: Tuesday, 10-11 a.m.
- Monthly Deployed Spouses Appreciation Dinner: Tuesday, 6-7 p.m.
- Cooking Class Arroz Con Pollo "Chicken & Rice": Wednesday, 4:30-6 p.m.
- Leadership Spouse Seminar: Thursday, 8 a.m. -2 p.m.
- Fundamentals of Interview: Thursday, 9-10 a.m.
Retiree Spouses' seminar
Patrick's Retiree Activities Office will hold its annual Military Retiree Spouses' Seminar Oct. 20 from 9 a.m. to noon in the base theater. The seminar is held to allow retiree wives, their spouses and surviving family members to get information on their current status. The seminar is free and no reservations are required. Varsity soccer tryouts
Tryouts for Patrick's varsity soccer team will be held Sept. 23 at 7 p.m. at the soccer field located in South Housing. For more information contact 1st Lt. Elaine Tatarek at 494-9948.
Med Group closure
The 45th Medical Group, including the satellite pharmacy, will close Oct. 3 at 11:30 a.m. for an official function. The 45th MDG will reopen Oct 4 at 7:30 a.m. and the satellite pharmacy at 8:30 a.m.
