Wing wins Outstanding Unit Award

PATRICK AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- Gen, C. Robert Kehler, commander, U.S. Air Force Space Command, recently signed certificates honoring the 45th Space Wing as one of four units to earn the prestigious Air Force Space Command Outstanding Unit Award for 2008.
Also earning the distinction are Headquarters, 14th Air Force, Vandenberg Air Force Base, Calif., 90th Mission Support Group, F,E, Warren Air Force Base, Wyo., and the 90th Operations Group, F.E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyo.
All assigned or attached pesonnel (including reservists and civilians), who served with a unit for at least one day between Dec. 6, 2006 and Sept. 30, 2008 are authorized the appropriate ribbon if they directly contributed to the mission and accomplishments of the unit.
For active duty personnel previously assigned to thse units during the inclusive dates, present a copy of the AFOUA orders and PCS ordes to your servicing Military Pesonnel Flight.
For Air Force Reserve personnel, obtain a copy of the AFOUA orders and forward them to the activiity which maintains your UPRG for filing and systen update,
For civilian pesonnel, your servicing Civilian Personnal Flight will provide your recognition pin.
