Travolta visits Ascension

Mr. Travolta landed on the island to refuel his plane following a vacation in Africa and was given a tour of the base and the rest of the island. “He thanked us for our service, asked a lot of questions about our mission and the island,” said Major Block of Mr. Travolta. “He was a really engaging and very friendly person.”
