The 45th Financial Services Flight was awarded the 2012 Air Force Space Command Financial Services Office of the Year Award recently.

A linchpin for snagging the award was their ability to work the war fighters. The Financial Services Flight processed 300 Contingency, Exercise, Deployment orders which supported members in 29 countries and totaled to $3.8 million. The flight also aided AFSPC personnel with 1,558 temporary duty assignments and executed $2.5 million of mission critical travel.

"I couldn't be more proud of these men and women. Day in and day out, they work together to build processes to ensure members of Team Patrick are paid correctly and as quickly as possible," said Lt. Col. Jason James, 45th Comptroller Squadron commander. "These Airmen are truly committed to our mission, and they share an enthusiasm to do things right the first time."
