Chief Master Sergeant Abueg is the Command Senior Enlisted Leader at Space Launch Delta 45, headquartered at Patrick Space Force Base, Florida. He leads both Guardians and Airmen and is the principal advisor to the Space Launch Delta Commander on all matters impacting the combat readiness, welfare, morale, proper utilization, and progress of assigned personnel. Space Launch Delta 45 encompasses 16,000 Total Force members responsible for Base Operating Support and Launch/Test Operations on two major United States Space Force installations and three airfields. He is charged with executing support to 90 mission partners and tenant units, and generating, presenting, sustaining, and improving combat-ready launch and test missions to secure the Nation’s interest in, form, and to space. Additionally, he is organizationally focused, from the commander-level down to the tactical forces and serves as a translator to the forces on operational and strategic objectives.
Chief Abueg entered the United States Air Force in 2004 and transferred into the United States Space Force in 2020. He has served in numerous assignments to include Yokota Air Base, Japan, Schriever Air Force Base, Colorado, Peterson Air Force Base, Colorado, Yongsan Garrison, Republic of Korea, Wheeler Army Airfield, Hawaii, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii and Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado. Prior to his current position, he was the Senior Enlisted Leader for the Space Domain Awareness mission under Mission Delta 2, Combat Forces Command, Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado.
