Colonel Peter M. Choi is the Deputy Commander for Installation Support, Space Launch Delta 45 at Patrick Space Force Base, Florida. He guides mission support efforts to range and launch operations, ensuring the vitality of national space activities at the only launch base for DoD and NASA launch vehicles. He ensures the readiness of worldwide deployable expeditionary forces, assures comprehensive base support to the Delta and 81 tenant units and mission partners, maintaining an 8.8-billion-dollar infrastructure servicing over 16,000 total Force Members and 125,000 retirees.
Col Choi entered the Air Force in 2003 as a distinguished graduate of the Reserve Officer Training Corps program at the Virginia Military Institute. Throughout his career, he has commanded two squadrons, served in a variety of positions at the wing, major command, headquarters levels, and has also deployed in support of multiple contingencies. Prior to his current position, he served as the Civil Engineer Readiness Division Chief, Deputy Chief of Staff for Logistics, Engineering and Force Protection, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, the Pentagon, Arlington, Virginia.
