PATRICK SPACE FORCE BASE, Fla. -- Firefighters assigned to the 45th Civil Engineer Squadron at Patrick Space Force Base, Florida, battled a simulated aircraft fire at the base Nov. 3.

Simulated aircraft fire training is conducted annually to help firefighters maintain certifications and prepare for a variety of emergency situations on or near an aircraft.
