45th SW supports Falcon Heavy STP-2 rocket launch
SpaceX’s Falcon Heavy STP-2 launched June 25, 2019, at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Fla. The STP-2 was the first Falcon Heavy launch with an official Department of Defense mission and payload; the payload included satellites from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), several universities and even the cremated remains of more than 150 humans, such as Apollo 11 astronaut Bill Pogue.
