A New Canvas - CATM Instructor Overcomes Adversity by Making His Own Art
Officer Tim Bull, a Combat Arms Training and Maintenance instructor, looks out over the firing range, April 25, 2018. Bull has a tattoo on his neck with the word "haole". The word has two meanings according to Bull, meaning both "breath" and being an outsider to Hawaiian culture. Bull also served in the United States Army as an infantryman and was stationed in Hawaii where he met his wife who was a Hawaii native. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Dalton Williams)
