45th Weather Squadron helps strengthen students’ minds

William Roeder, 45th Weather Squadron meteorologist, gives Lake Nona High School students a tour of the Morrell Operations Center April 18, 2017, at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Fla. Members of the 45th WS met with students to discuss their Lightning Launch Commit Criteria findings and results in regards to weather and climatology. Prior to the school year, Roeder reached out to the high school and introduced them to the project. The project provides students with real-world experience by following a business model of preparation, set-up, and using innovative methods to complete it. (U.S. Air Force photo by Phil Sunkel)
