Two wing members inducted to hall of fame
Roger McCormick, a volunteer for the Air Force Space and Missile Museum, Cape Canaveral Air Force Station Fla., poses with Mark Jager, National Space Club Florida Committee board member after being inducted into the private organization’s hall of fame. The club inducted 14 honorees, including Mr. McCormick and Kathy Winters from the 45th Space Wing into their Space Worker Hall of Fame Aug. 9, 2016 at Cape Canaveral, Fla. The National Space Club Florida is one of three regional committees of the National Space Club and Foundation in Washington, D.C., and is a non-profit corporation composed of private individuals representing industry, government, the Department of Defense, regional educational institutions, and the public. Their major goals are to increase public awareness of America's aerospace programs, sponsor educational initiatives, and recognize achievement by those who make significant contributions to the space program in Florida.
