Lights out for sea turtles
A loggerhead turtle is one example of protected wildlife under the Endangered Species Act. Team Patrick-Cape and the community, is reminded that sea turtle nesting season is May 1 to Oct. 31, and that all nonessential lighting must be extinguished between 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. during nesting season in effort to protect wildlife.
