Delta IV GOES P launches
A United Launch Alliance Delta IV rocket lifts off with the NASA/NOAA Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellite P (GOES P) from Space Launch Complex-37 at 6:57 p.m. March 4. GOES P will provide NOAA and NASA scientists with data to support weather, solar and space operations, and will enable future science improvements in weather prediction and remote sensing.
