Final Combined Federal Campaign numbers for Patrick AFB and Cape Canaveral AFS show an increase in participation by 5 percent over last year, despite the continued weak economy. The 45th Space Wing and Mission Partners collected $194,000 for 2011, 95 percent of their goal. "More people were motivated to donate what little money they had to help others in need," said Maj. Shana Figueroa, 45 SW CFC Project Officer. "This proves that the 45 SW and its mission partners truly care about their community and can come together in a time of crisis."
