Col Bowden and Army Vet at Honor Flight
Col. Allison Bowden, commander, 45th Medical Group, spends time with 102-year-old Army veteran Ernie Hedges prior to the final Honor Flight for 2011 around 4 a.m. Oct. 20. Space Coast Honor Flight’s mission is to make it possible for our WWII Veterans to have the opportunity to visit their memorial in Washington D.C. This is a unique opportunity to say thanks to a group that sacrificed so much to make possible the freedoms we enjoy today!
