Maj. John Brodeur, an aircraft commander with the 39th Rescue Squadron, shows some of the finer points of a C-130 cargo plane to a group of U.S. Naval Sea Cadets July 10. The 34 cadets came from all over the country and from the local community, including Major Brodeur’s son. The cadets spent a week visiting Patrick Air Force Base, volunteering in various offices such as the 920th Rescue Wing Public Affairs office, the 45th Space Wing Judge Advocate office and the Defense Equal Opportunity Management Institute.
