Those whom we lost on September 11, 2001, will forever hold a cherished place in our hearts and in the history of our Nation. Helping to honor them Thursday morning are (left to right) Airman Jennifer O’Hara, (Security Forces), Airman Bradley Kramer, (Fire Department), Tech. Sgt. Clifton Matthews, (45th Medical Group) and Master Sgt. John Lawson (Explosive Ordnance Disposal). “Every single day, we have Airmen around the world who find themselves in harm’s way. They are there in direct relation – and response to – the events of September 11, 2001,” said Brig. Gen. Susan Helms, 45th Space Wing commander. “Let’s never, ever lose sight of that fact. It’s not just another day.” (U.S. Air Force photo by Jim Laviska)
