More than 100 friends and family members showed up at Melbourne International Airport Sept. 10 to welcome back approximately 20 Civil Engineer Squadron Airmen from a six-month tour in Afghanistan. Local media were also present to interview our Airmen, including Staff Sgt. Leon Grier, seen here, talking with a Channel 13 reporter. By his side is his wife, Senior Airman Nicole Grier (who recently made the Staff Sgt. promotion list), and who is expecting the couple’s first baby in early November. Welcome home all! Job well done!
