Gail Pemberton, 45th Medical Operations Squadron physical therapy volunteer, was nominated for Shark of the Week.

Staff Sgt. Jessica Brock, 45th MDOS physical therapy technician, and Tech. Sgt. Michelle Wright, 45th MDOS physical therapy technician, nominated Pemberton because the duo said she is motivated and has been pivotal in the success of the physical therapy clinic.

Brock said Pemberton takes care of scheduling patients and provides much relief to the office during very busy days, meanwhile working through man power constraints.

"She also completes other necessary, yet, time consuming administrative work," Brock said.

Pemberton has been serving as a volunteer for over 19 years, according to Brock, and said she does so with the best attitude and brings a certain joy into the clinic.

"She garners an environment of positivity and success," Brock said. "Her continuous support makes it possible for the physical therapy staff to focus on other items of business ... And, through her hard work; the mission is able to get accomplished with greater ease for the rest of the staff.

"She truly demonstrates what it means to be part of this great Air Force family and more specifically, a Shark, at Patrick Air Force Base," Brock said.
