DOD personnel and their family members are invited to attend a free Introduction to Self Defense Class April 20, 11 a.m. to noon or 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., at the Patrick Air Force Base Fitness Center. Master Keith Lowe, 5th Degree Black Belt, teaches practical real-world techniques and provides useful training. Participants are asked to wear soft-bottom shoes and comfortable clothes. The class is being offered as part of Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month, which is recognized in April by both military and civilian communities.
