PATRICK AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- Earlier this year, the Secretary of the Air Force Public Affairs Office released an updated policy for the privatized housing Utility Allowance Program. The updated policy changes how utility allowances are calculated for privatized housing across the Air Force.
Hunt Housing at Patrick AFB is currently taking a phased approach to implement the Air Force's new policy. As a result, the 45th Space Wing does not anticipate changes for Patrick AFB residents at this time. Implementation here is estimated to take place mid-2017.
Hunt Housing will provide residents adequate notice of any pending changes prior to implementation.
