Members of Team Patrick-Cape donated more than 266 toys to children in the local community who are in foster care or abuse prevention programs, Dec. 11, 2014, at Patrick Air Force Base, Fla. The Patrick AFB First Sergeant's Council coordinated the toy drive by collecting toys from the 45th Space Wing and its tenant units for the Brevard Family Partnership.

The Brevard Family Partnership collects toys every year for approximately 5,000 children, and more than 2,000 toys were collected this year valued at over $11,000, making Patrick AFB the county's largest donor.

"'Thank you' is simply an understatement for the kindness and generosity shown toward the Brevard County Toy Drive," said Master Sgt. Stacy Lindsey, 45th Comptroller Squadron first sergeant. "Team Patrick-Cape has continued to support the community for nearly 15 years in a row. It makes me proud to see the smiles as our donors dropped off gifts, keep the spirit of giving alive."
