Flu vaccine available at clinic

PATRICK AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- The FluMist is now available for ages 2-49.

Beginning Oct. 7, 2015, the clinic will host flu lines every Wednesday from 1-4 p.m. in the clinic lobby.

The FluShot is currently only available for active-duty with a contraindication to the FluMist, high risk Tricare beneficiaries (asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, diabetes mellitus, cardiovascular disease), clinic Red Cross volunteers and those traveling overseas before Oct. 14, 2015.

Immunizations clinic hours are as follows:
Monday: 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Wednesday: 8 a.m. to noon
The Immunization Clinic is closed daily from noon-1 p.m.
