Assistant Secretary listens to base residents' concerns

Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Manpower and Reserve Affairs Craig Duehring (left) takes a note as he speaks with Staff Sgt. John Garnish from the 45th Civil Engineer Squadron after a briefing at the Professional Development Center Wednesday. Mr. Duehring has been traveling to different bases to speak to active duty, reserve and guard members as well as civilian employees on subjects ranging from housing to deployments, gathering information to take back to the Pentagon. He welcomed questions and feedback saying that these trips "show where we have rough spots in the road."
"We all have an interest in how this turns out," he continued. "I want to take this opportunity to thank you for what you're doing, and to thank your families for supporting you." (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class David Dobrydney)
