Wing Commander addresses Airmen leaders Published Nov. 7, 2012 By 45th Space Wing Public Affairs Patrick AFB, Fla. -- Brig. Gen. Anthony Cotton, 45th Space Wing, commander, welcomed a new class to the Airman Leadership School yesterday, Nov. 6. In his orientation, Gen. Cotton laid out expectations for the class which is made up of new leaders for the Air Force. The class consists of 13 students - 11 active duty Airmen, one Coast Guard and one National Guard. The leadership course is 24 days with 192 hours of instruction including: communication building, bullet statement writing, leadership tools training, and customs and courtesies. The instructors for the class are Staff Sgt. Brent Kenney, instructor in leadership, and Tech. Sgt. Sarah Atkins, instructor for communication.
