45th FSS comes up big in Space Command Awards

PATRICK AFB, Fla. -- The 45th Force Support Squadron racked up several kudos during the annual Air Force Space Command A1 Awards Program. Maj. Gregory Jones, FSS Commander, had nothing but praise for his hard-working unit.

"All the credit goes to the supervisors and Airman and civilians who go above and beyond the call of duty every day to provide services to everyone here at Patrick and the Cape," he said. "Awards are nice, but what makes us really happy is knowing we are doing our jobs and serving our customers."

The 45th Space Wing Equal Opportunity Office also came in first place in the AFSPC AI Awards Program. This is their third consecutive year in a row receiving the AFSPC EO office of the year! Those honored are Tech. Sgt. David Coleman, Mr. Ron Gonzales and Senior Master Sgt. Joseph Newton.
