2012 Patrick Air Force Base Annual Awards Banquet

The 45th Space Wing annual awards banquet will be held Friday, Feb. 22, beginning with a social hour at 6 p.m. at the Radisson Resort at the Port.

The banquet is held to recognize 45th Space Wing and mission partner personnel who have made significant contributions toward accomplishing the mission of the United States Air Force and the wing, while also showing responsible citizenship in their respective communities. Wing members will compete in various categories to include Team, Volunteer, Civilian, Airman, Non-commissioned Officer, Senior Non-commissioned Officer, Company Grade Officer, and Field Grade Officer.

Dinner will be served at 7 p.m. and will consist of a combo plate with grilled boneless chicken breast topped with boursin cream sauce and grilled sirloin steak, medium rare, topped with grilled mushroom bordelaise sauce. This will be served with roasted red bliss potatoes and seasonal vegetables. There is also a vegetable lasagna plate as a vegetarian option. Both meals will be served with a Caesar Salad, assorted warm rolls, butter, coffee, hot tea and iced tea. Dessert will be cheesecake with strawberry topping.

Cost to attend is $32 per person with cash, or check made payable to the Space Coast Top Three Association. Tickets will go on sale Thursday, Jan. 25.

For military members, the attire is the mess dress uniform or the semi-formal dress uniform. Civilian guests should wear a dress suit or tuxedo for men and cocktail or evening dress for women.

The banquet is a way to come together as a wing to celebrate our heritage and recognize some of the finest Airmen the United States has to offer!
