PAFB Military Retiree Appreciation Day Published March 12, 2013 By 45th Space Wing Public Affairs PATRICK AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- The 45th Space Wing invites the military community to attend its 28th Anniversary Patrick AFB "Military Retiree Appreciation Day," to be held Sat., April 13 starting at 9 a.m. Col. Patrick Donley, Commander, 45th Mission Support Group, and the Retiree Activities Office promise a day of information with subjects of interest for the retiree community. At the Base Theater, starting at 9:15 a.m., briefings of interest for all retirees will be held covering medical and financial issues. The Military Personnel Flight, Bldg. 537, will be open for updating ID cards and DEERS information. There will be tables in DEOMI, Bldg 560, where visitors can meet with representatives from base facilities and service organizations available for individual questions. The 45th Medical Group will conduct an instructional health fair and handle questions. For all those who wish to utilize the Base Dining Facility it will be open 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Our keynote speaker, Lt. Gen. Jack Klimp, USMC, Retired, President, NAUS Association, will speak on current retiree benefits and rights affected by recent legislation initiatives. -30-
