Leadership/Organization
Wing Leadership: The 45th Space Wing is commanded by Brig. Gen. Stephen G. Purdy Jr.
The wing is organized into four groups to accomplish its mission:
- Safety: Conducts mission assurance on launch vehicle and spacecraft processing from flight hardware arrival through launch.
-Operations: Operates and maintains the Eastern Range assets and is responsible for airfield operations, weather and communication support.
-Installation Support: Provides support through various functions to the people and mission.
-Medical Group: Provides medical, dental, environmental and public health services.
