OSS team receives April Golden Knight award

PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. --  The Golden Knight recipient for April is the 21st Operations Support Squadron Rams.

The weather, airfield operations and maintenance division flights highlighted the Rams "can-do" attitude through the renovation of base operations, Building 122. The team utilized limited funding and self-help labor to upgrade a facility built in 1954, and maneuvered construction contracts to share office space eliminating the need for temporary trailer work centers, saving more than $55,000 in costs.

Team members include: Bob Schwaeble, Linda Bauer, Tech. Sgt. Troy Adams, Staff Sgt. Elizabeth Pierce, Staff Sgt. Carolyn Franzen, Greg King, Donnie Miller, Senior Airman Robert Evans, Senior Airman Sandra Jacobs, Senior Airman Korey Papa, Senior Airman Precious Smith, Senior Airman Francheska Ortiz, Senior Airman Allysia Landin, Airman 1st Class Janette Mabus, and Airman 1st Class Devon Pulliam.
