AFTAC introduces Innovation Lab
Dr. Theresa Hofstetter, a mass spectrometry scientist and Tech. Sgt. Daniel McAllister, an exercise and evaluations noncommissioned officer in charge, both with the Air Force Technical Applications Center at Patrick AFB, Fla., review coded algorithms at one of two stand-alone computer terminals that are capable of simulating AFTAC's custom thermal ionization mass spectrometers, or TIMS.
